Vic Edwards

Vic Edwards, one of the most skilled and respected frame builders in the UK opened his small workshop in Crow Lane, Romford, Essex in the 1950s after previously working at Hobbs of Barbican, Hetchins and EG Bates.


He continued building for these brands from his own premises as well as for Pat Hanlon, Alf Shorter, Rory O’Brien, Ducketts, Condor and Kennistons.


He built and sold his own frames under the name of Rondinella which is Italian for Swallow as well as many one-off special orders for professional riders including Alf Engers and Roger St Pierre.
