Roy Thame
Roy Thame was the driving force behind the Holdsworth Professional team from 1962 through to it’s disbandment in 1978.
From 1976 the Holdsworth shops at Putney, Penge and Welling started selling frames bearing the Roy Thame name.
Some of the custom made frames where built with Reynolds tubing by Holdsworth’s master frame builder Reg Collard at the Putney shop but many others were built in Italy by the likes of Ciocc and Grandis using Columbus tubing.
