Picchio

Angelo Picchio, started building frames in 1946 with the help of his main assistant Francesco Trentin who had been team mechanic for Torpado.

They crafted many champions' frames, including winners of The Tour De France, The Giro d'Italia and the World Championships.

Like the other famous artisan builders from Turin, Guiseppe Pela and Corrado Paratella, Angelo Picchio was never to receive the credit, due to the politics of race team sponsorships.
