Carhall
Carhall was the brand name of Portsmouth lightweight cycle retailer Carter and Hall. Nobby Carter and wife Olive Hall opened for business in 1950s and continued to 1980s. They were, like many small cycle retailers around the country at the time, a shop who supplied local clubmen with bikes and components. They did not build frames themselves but bought them in to individual customer’s specifications from builders like Witcomb, Bob Jackson and Leader, they then painted and badged them as their own.
