Bombini

Emanuele Bombini was a very successful Italian professional racing cyclist born in San Ferdinando di Puglia in 1959 and who’s career lasted between 1976 and 1990. 

During the 1980s he was involved with Grandis in the manufacture of eponymous top end racing cycles. In the 1990s and early 21st century Bombini became an established sporting director on the Italian professional racing scene including the first systematic EPO-doping programme in professional cycling at Gewiss in 1994, before working at Batik and Barloworld amongst others.
