1985
One of a kind special build by Cinelli for Eric Clapton with unique blue paint and ‘SLOWHAND’ pantographed stem, (Clapton’s nickname given to him by Keith Moon).
The bike is unaltered from when it was handed over to Clapton by Cinelli’s owner Antonio Colombo in 1985.
Clapton has confirmed, via his ghost writer Christopher Sykes, that this is his Cinelli, and that it was passed on to someone who worked for him and then subsequently sold onto the present owner.
Equipped with Campagnolo 1st Generation Corsa Record groupset, Campagnolo Super Record brakeset, pedals and clips, Fiamme Master rims and Continental tubular tyres, Cinelli SLX Volare saddle, ’65 Criterium handlebars, Alfredo Binda toe straps and TA bottle cage
